Our seminar trip to Italy took place from October 30th to November 3rd, 2024. On the evening of October 30th we set off with 13 people and arrived the next morning in the small town of Dueville, north of Venice, somewhat exhausted. After some rest, we went to the seminar in the evening. We were already expected and welcomed there by the master of the Italian dojo. Another club from France was also a guest, which was very important for us. This seminar was mainly about internalizing the techniques of the host club, as we already belong to their so-called ADIA association and therefore want to learn a slightly different fighting style. It was a bit tiring but also very interesting. After the seminar, this cooperation was celebrated in a cozy restaurant. The wish now is to maintain this cooperation and maintain contact. We are also planning such a somewhat larger seminar in spring 2025 in order to welcome and get to know other international clubs as guests. The following days we went on short trips to neighboring towns, such as Vicenza, Marostica and the small center of Bassano del Grappa. Beautiful buildings, interesting history and a pleasant atmosphere accompanied us for the remaining two days. On the last evening we were able to enjoy a wine tasting with the Italians and look forward to seeing each other again. We also had a lot of fun as a group and look back fondly on this wonderful trip.
